Oyl is an organic home grown brand focusing on clothing, accessories and home. The brand is conceptualized, curated and founded by Snigdha Binaykia & Arunima Gangadharan. It launched off in early May 2024 as a limited-edition collection that was showcased by invitation.
The brand ethos predominantly revolves around being classy, versatile, comfort, relaxed and timeless, symbolizing slow fashion yet smartly casual. The brand is conceived from the finest range of handcrafted raw materials used to curate an exclusive range for the very niche and special audience with a hint of subtleness and understated touch to create a unique finesse in the overall garment.
The idea being to sustain artisanal craft and skills at grass root levels yet bring to being the concept of affordable luxe.

The concept is to connect with nature making your home and living a beautiful place keeping the human touch alive in this very digital age and time. Shoonya: Embrace Imperfection
We conduct workshops related to art, the idea is to think, enjoy, relax, declutter and destress, thus keep the human touch alive, living beyond ‘the click of a button’. Our belief in engaging with art brings joy and self-discovery which is important in this digital era, so embrace imperfection, its real. The workshops aims to be non-chargeable to people below 18 years and above 60 years of age.
Having contributed several articles and stories across genres that have been featured in leading publications during the course of her corporate career, she decided to launch her other label, “The Indian Irish” featuring her contemporary writing works, focusing on the realities of everyday life with a touch humour and pinch of satire.
As Snigdha says, there is immense beauty in simplicity and humility, compassion, faith and gratitude being the gist of life.
